When we are inspired by the origins of the natural world that we use in floral design, everything changes. Building connections between floral designers and flower farmers can fundamentally pivot the direction of your business. I have built mine around collaboration and have never looked back. I know how important it is to have the confidence and knowledge to source flowers domestically. I also know that it isn’t always easy, but I can show you how. I will help you discover what I have; that our design community is stronger when we connect to each other and when we build personal relationships with the farmers that grow our flowers.

A retreat with The Floral Source is an opportunity to improve your business and support America’s floriculture industry in a more meaningful and fulfilling way.
You will have the opportunity to participate in an intimate group retreat style setting, where we will be able to focus on how to build up your confidence, knowledge and ability to source year-round. We will be visiting flower farms and walking side-by-side with the farmers to better understand their product, their missions and their process. Sharing each other’s stories fosters development and trust in every farmer-florist relationship.
Creating a successful business as a floral designer is hard work. Adding new business practices can feel stressful, but through The Floral Source, we will break down the barriers and the frustration that comes with sourcing flowers and help you initiate a new, intentional, meaningful and more confident way to grow your business.
Because I truly believe that experiential learning is key, you will have the opportunity to design with each farm’s seasonal product for a hands-on design workshop with a styled shoot that will be professionally photographed and available for your own portfolio.
